Eddie Santiago was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Eddie Santiago and Disco de oro (cd1) together. Bun B. Hear has compared writing for Eddie Santiago’s new album to that on ‘Disco de oro (cd1)’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This disc has all of the essential Eddie Santiago classics. Enjoy the show.
JUGUE Y PERDI without a doubt is the standout song of Disco de oro (cd1). Nice and different song. UNA NUEVA OPORTUNIDAD is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. TODO EMPEZO - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Eddie Santiago. I listened to the opening track VOY A ROBARME LA LUNA and liked it a lot. ANTIDOTO Y VENENO has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Disco de oro (cd1) couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track DE PROFESION :TU AMANTE. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Disco de oro (cd1). LLUVIA which is my favorite is a truly Eddie Santiago sounding song.
