I was truly moved when I heard Oddly Godly (E.V.A.). Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Cold Krush Cuts is Sunvibes (Dj Food). Glass (Gideon) the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Once Alice Effekt (Drome) gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. The Breaks Of Wrath (Dj Food) make listening to Electronic - Various Artists like being in some sort of time warp. In Mr.Chombee Has The Flaw (Herbaliser) Electronic - Various Artists spins a tale you want to hear to the end. The first time I listened to The Revolutionary Woman (Up, Bustle & Out) I was struck by its excellent sound. An Unmarked Grave (In Memory Of Buth Cassidy & The Sundance Kid) (Up, Bustle & Out) catches attention immediately, Global Chaos (Archi Version) (Kt & Hex) is the first taste of the new album. I can’t stop playing Groover (Funki Porcini). Nightrous (Peezee) is a strong cut, one of many. Creatures (Amon Tobin) has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Readybrek (Dj Toolz) is a gorgeous sing-along. Mod You (Cabbageboy) as a highlight of Cold Krush Cuts contains a ton of amazing melodies. Harmonic (Hex) is worth the money. In Spiral (Dj Food) Electronic - Various Artists is at his best. Naked Leaves (Coldcut) is almost impossible to review. Get Your Head Down (Luke Vibert) - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Voice and instruments in The Breaks (Dj Vadim & Mark B) complement each other. Some call Goodbye Cruel World (London Funk Allstars) from Cold Krush Cuts as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. What sets The Real Killer Part 2 (Rooftop Prowler) (Herbaliser) apart is Electronic - Various Artists’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Sometimes (2 Player Vs. Herbaliser) is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day.
