Self-described as Electronic with lots of words, Electronic - Various Artists comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. ‘Freestyle - Freestyle Vol. 1′ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. There is so much to love about Electronic - Various Artists, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Unappreciated gift to Electronic
This is probably my favorite song on the album. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. I like to sing along with Dont Stop The Rock (Freestyle), though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Its Automatic (Freestyle) rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. In Died In Your Arms (Intonation feat. Joee) the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. It’s such an underrated song. Still going through Freestyle - Freestyle Vol. 1 and coming to appreciate Mega Mix - 2. Memories (Johnny O.) more and more with every listen. I have all of Electronic - Various Artists’s tracks and Mega Mix - 3. Dont Go Awaway (Johnny O.) is probably the most his introspective effort. Mega Mix - 4. Highway Of Love (Johnny O.) is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Best song on the album, love it. Shake Shake (Jonny Z.) is marvelous song though, very addictive. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. LOve Cant Wait (Lil Suzy) has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Don’t judge Set U Free (Planet Soul) on the first listening. Let The Music Play (Shannon) is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Dreamin Of Love (Stevie B.). Funky Melody (Stevie B.) gives good insight into the truths. Cry A Million Tears (Timmy T.) is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Take Me In Your Arms (Tony Garcia) is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo.
