While no new Elend album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1994 tour in Africa. I am not a real Classical: Neo-Classical music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Lecons De Tenebres’ really is amazing. For older fans Lecons De Tenebres will put a massive smile accross your face. This is my first Elend Album and i must say i am blown away.
Chanting is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. After few listenings I started to like Into Bottomless Perdition more and more. Elend emotions are reflected through Deploration. The opening track Infernal Beauty is very much like you would expect from other albums. As always, Elend’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. In The Emperor full palet of sound is used by Elend to accentuate the presentation.
