This album has some very good songs like Crystal Plumage and There’s No One Left. Lead single “Crystal Plumage” and “There’s No One Left” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. After seeing Crystal Plumage, I had to have a good Ennio Morricone cd. If you love Ennio Morricone as much as I do, then Ennio Morricone Dario Argento Trilogy is the CD for you!
Song There’s No One Left is actually a funny song. The City Wakes Up one of the best in my collection. The Bird With The Crystal Plumage is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Ennio Morricone ever produced. Silence In The Chaos is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Dario Argento Trilogy. Unexpected Violence (4:14) - awsome. Lullaby In Blue is simply cool. 1970 sets the tone for the entire album. First Paranoia is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Put Dissociation into car stereo for your highway driving Last Metaphor is a exquisite, simple song by Ennio Morricone at the top of his game. The Spot is a great opener for Dario Argento Trilogy. Simple and heartfelt closing track Four Flies On Grey Velvet closes Dario Argento Trilogy on a high note. Suite - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Ennio Morricone sings Like A Madrigal in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Interview marked the continuation of Ennio Morricone in style evolution.
