It has been one years Eric Andersen’ last studio CD, “Ghosts Upon the Road” which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. Spanish Steps defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think It Starts With A Lie is my favorite song on Ghosts Upon the Road. The sound in Trouble In Paris is really warm and Eric Andersen’s signature voice is still very much present. I like Listen To The Rain because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Listening to Ghosts Upon The Road you can hear that Eric Andersen has still amazing chemistry with band members. Too Many Times (I Will Try) is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Carry Me Away is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Six Senses Of Darkness is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Irish Lace has a beautifully haunting disco flavor.
