Crusaders - In Nomine Domini isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Lead single “Allelujah (Choral)” and “Seigneurs, Sachiez” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This album has some very good songs like Allelujah (Choral) and Seigneurs, Sachiez. IT makes me wanna dance!
Seigneurs, Sachiez pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Chanterai Por Mon Corage is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Maugrez Touz Sainz is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Estampie released so far. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Estampie. Crux Fidelis (Choral) is the funkiest number on the album. Estampie must have run out of lyrics on the next track Quant Amors Trobet Partit. Ich Han Nach Lieben Friunde is the song that really did it for me. Some call Ahi, Amors from Crusaders - In Nomine Domini as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Lamento Di Tristano , Rotta is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Paldstinalied is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Estampie ever produced. This is probably my favorite song on the album.
