Since completing 1996’s ‘Des Nachtens Suss’ Gedone (Ins’, Estatic Fear fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. On Somnium Obmutum album, Estatic Fear have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. It has been sixteen years Estatic Fear’ last studio CD, “Somnium Obmutum” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Great Metal right here!
Album opener Somnium Obmutum is a bright, upbeat ditty. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Ode To Solitude is probably the most interesting track on Somnium Obmutum.
