This album has some very good songs like Raga Miyan Ki Malhar and Tabla Solo in Tintaal. I am not a real Ethnic music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Inspiration - India - Duets for Sitar, Surbahar, Shehnai’ really is amazing. Lead single “Raga Miyan Ki Malhar” and “Tabla Solo in Tintaal” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Such great and happy songs.
|titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Raga Miyan Ki Todi is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Thumri in Raga Piloo is the albums biggest surprise. Chaiti Dhun - another great track from the Inspiration - India - Duets for Sitar, Surbahar, Shehnai album. After few listenings I started to like Thumri in Raga Bhairavi more and more.
