After seeing Tell Mama, I had to have a good Etta James cd. While no new Etta James album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1994 tour in Europe. ‘Live From San Fransciso’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. This is one of Etta James best albums
Take It To the Limit - A strong beat. Sugar On the Floor is the song that really did it for me. Otis Redding Medley–Hard To Handle/Just One More Day/Can’t Turn You Loose is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. I’d Rather Go Blind without a doubt is the standout song of Live From San Fransciso. In I Just Want To Make Love To You Etta James is at his best. Born Blue is worth the money. Musically Baby What You Want Me To Do is superior to other tracks in Live From San Fransciso.
