There is so much to love about Ezequiel Pena, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. ‘El Tirador’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Ezequiel Pena’s album El Tirador falls to No. 2 with 992,000, a sales slide of 72%. El Tirador and Me Esta Esperando Maria is really good.
I like to sing along with Me Esta Esperando Maria, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Musically Rock Y Banda is superior to other tracks in El Tirador. El Cachanilla (Puro Cachanilla) is a perfect song and it grows on you. Pa’Yo to me is the best you can get from Ezequiel Pena. El De La Quebradita is pretty funky and mellow. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Celoso (Jealous Heart) has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Maria Isabel - arguably the best track on El Tirador album.
