Jim Jones has compared writing for Fela Kuti’s new album to that on ‘Coffin for Head of State - Unk’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. When you buy a Fela Kuti album, you know exactly what you’re getting! four years ago, Fela Kuti briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Unknown Soldier”. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Fela Kuti ever.
Unknown Soldier is the album’s biggest hit, I think.
