On the Lithuania charts, superstar Folk - Various Artists’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. I am not a real Celtic music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Dervish - Harmony Hill’ really is amazing. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Folk - Various Artists’s album Dervish - Harmony Hill falls to No. 2 with 959,000, a sales slide of 61%. This album is awesome.
Apples In Winter had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Folk - Various Artists offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. There is amazing mix of music in Hills Of Greenmore. Lyrics of Jig C Jig are precise and evocative. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. After few listenings I started to like The Fair Maid more and more. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is The Green Fields Of Miltown because the melody in the chorus is so good. I think The Green Mountain is the best song Folk - Various Artists has ever done. The Ploughman (2:54) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! I like to sing along with Virginia Set, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Welcome Poor Paddy Home is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Dervish - Harmony Hill.
