There is no doubt that Fred Hersch has talent. Fred Hersch had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. When you buy a Fred Hersch album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Sarabande touched my soul like nothing else.
Enfant is a excellent song and it grows on you. The Peacocks - I like this one. What Is This Thing Called Love? is a good listen every once in a while. Sarabande - Okay, I just talked about depth. In This Heart Of Mine it becomes nowhere more obvious that Fred Hersch has yet to define own style. Child’s Song - A nice song. Blue In Green is probably the most interesting track on Sarabande. Cadences is possibly the best song Fred Hersch has come up.
