Lead single “Ah” and “Barogue” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. It has been thirteen years Freddy Fresh’ last studio CD, “Accidentally Classic” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Self-described as Electronic with lots of words, Freddy Fresh comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. IT makes me wanna dance!
This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Bum Bum is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Cherrish Electronique marked the continuation of Freddy Fresh in style evolution. Chupacabbra is the albums biggest surprise. Dilema - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Freddy Fresh. Although Fat Beat is very melodic it is far from sad. Flava is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Musically Gimme is superior to other tracks in Accidentally Classic. Hey - My least favorite song on this album. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. I can’t stop playing Open Spaces. Portion - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Strong, powerful vocals of Freddy Fresh in Represent are very impressive. Flow had me crying as I was able to relate so well.
