Legends of Light isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. On Legends of Light album, Friedemann have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. After seeing The Fairies of Sternsea, I had to have a good Friedemann cd. Another great offering from Friedemann.
Mount Belenos great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Seven Silver Stars can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Friedemann is all about. Spring Has Come to Wiesental is worth the money. Music and lyrics of Sunday in Alsace creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Black Cherries - White Wine actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Friedemann’s face. Overall a nice softer song. The Sun at Midnight is nothing but pure genius.
