Jim Jones has compared writing for Front Line Assembly’s new album to that on ‘Live Wired (Live) - CD2′ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. It has been two years Front Line Assembly’ last studio CD, “Live Wired (Live) - CD2″ which won Array Emmy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. There is so much to love about Front Line Assembly, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This album is awesome.
Overkill defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Millennium is Front Line Assembly’s best work in years. I’ve found myself listening to Condemned back to back and back many times. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. I like the idea behind Neologic Spasm. The sound in Body Count is really warm and Front Line Assembly’s signature voice is still very much present.
