Since Garth Brooks last CD (Fresh Horses) on ForeFront Records back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. There is so much to love about Garth Brooks, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Garth Brooks energies, virtually a rebirth. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Cowboys and Angels is a bit of a show-tune. The Fever is the albums biggest surprise. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Garth Brooks. Rollin’ as a highlight of Fresh Horses contains a ton of exquisite melodies. The Change make listening to Garth Brooks like being in some sort of time warp. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. It’s Midnight Cinderella is a good listen every once in a while. She’s Every Woman - A catchy, upbeat tune. Ireland - This one is lively and fun.
