Gates Of Ishtar was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Gates Of Ishtar and A Bloodred Path together. On A Bloodred Path album, Gates Of Ishtar have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. There were many famous songs of Gates Of Ishtar available. IT makes me wanna dance!
Still going through A Bloodred Path and coming to appreciate I Wanna Be Somebody more and more with every listen. In Anna is really a nice song to relax and listen too. In Into Seasons Of Frost the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Tears - Okay, I just talked about depth. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. The Silence is a very catchy tune. When Daylight’s Gone is gorgeous song though, very addictive. Where The Winds Of Darkness Blow - Well, here we get a bit more meaning.
