Now signed to G.B.H.’s Mute Records, the title track from second album “Punk Junkies” leads G.B.H.’s back-to-school campaign. For older fans Punk Junkies will put a massive smile accross your face. G.B.H. was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from G.B.H. and Punk Junkies together. Smart music for smart people.
Junkies is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Impounded motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Harmony is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. I like Tokyo After Dark because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Shakin’ Hand With The Machine is the song that really did it for me. Don’t Drag Me Back is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Still going through Punk Junkies and coming to appreciate Break The Chains more and more with every listen. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of G.B.H.. I believe Stormchaser is one of the most excellent, heartfelt songs ever written. A fantastic track full of wonder. Damn Good Time rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of G.B.H.. If you are a G.B.H. fan, you will love Civilised. Lowering The Standard (3:20) a good melody. Enzo is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Album opener Outro is a bright, upbeat ditty.
