Metysmena Tragoudia isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. I am not a real Folk music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Metysmena Tragoudia’ really is amazing. While no new George Dalaras album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1996 tour in Africa. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about George Dalaras ever.
George Dalaras rocks harder than ever with Me Varka Tin Ellada. Mes Tous Vious Twn Agiwn was the first single release from the album Metysmena Tragoudia. Ti Newtero Tha Vreis is a marvelous song and it grows on you. This is probably my favorite song on the album. H Agia Methi - This is a very lively song. San Ton Odyssea - My least favorite song on this album. Ego Milo Ki Esy Eisai Allou marked the continuation of George Dalaras in style evolution. Ston Peiraia - I just love it. There is perfect mix of music in Se Koitao Kai Ksexnao To Onoma Mou. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. I can’t stop playing Thelo Na Fygo S’eparxia.
