It’s natural for Ghosting to take a stab at ‘Blood Ocean’ considering her long-professed love for UB40. Now signed to Ghosting’s Virgin Records, the title track from second album “Romantic Death” leads Ghosting’s back-to-school campaign. Since Ghosting last CD (Romantic Death) on Virgin Records back in 1993, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is what good Gothic should be.
In Meaning Of Life the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Crying is almost impossible to review. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Romantic Death. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Schattengesang. Get Me Back is astounding. Within the first few notes of King Of Force it’s perfectly clear that Ghosting is living this song. Voice and instruments in Leremitage complement each other. New World is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. This song stands out greatly from the others. Denkmal as a highlight of Romantic Death contains a ton of astounding melodies.
