Self-described as Gothic with lots of words, Ghosting comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Ghosting’s album Songs From Fairyland falls to No. 2 with 274,000, a sales slide of 78%. I am not a real Gothic music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Songs From Fairyland’ really is amazing. Great Gothic right here!
It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Love Apart is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. As always, Ghosting’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. After few listenings I started to like Sonate more and more. Ghosting breathes new life into the music in Let Me Stay. Song Purete is actually a funny song. I believe Ghosting is one of the most perfect, heartfelt songs ever written. Absolute Dream is the more seemingly obscure song on Songs From Fairyland that bear up best to repeated listening.
