This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Haddaway. There is no doubt that Haddaway has talent. Lead single “What Is Love” and “Shout” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. One of Haddaway’s best albums yet.
Excellent vocals and musical performances. Yeah is a bit different from Haddaway stereotypical stuff. Rock My Heart is a strong cut, one of many. When The Feeling’s Gone - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. What Is Love (Rapino-Brothers) is one of the coolest songs Haddaway has ever recorded. This song stands out greatly from the others. Haddaway sings Mama’s House in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Although Come Back (Love Has Got A Hold) is very melodic it is far from sad. In Sing About Love the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. I Miss You - Check out that bassline! This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on The Album.
