The Drive is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Ivan Grach has compared writing for Haddaway’s new album to that on ‘The Drive’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. There is no doubt that Haddaway has talent. Such great and happy songs.
Only one song from The Drive named I Know really got me. In Breakaway the music gets its power. I was truly moved when I heard Lover Be Thy Name. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Give It Up is such a amazing and optimistic song that things can get just better. Catch A Fire is astounding. Still going through The Drive and coming to appreciate Desert Prayer more and more with every listen. This is one hell of a track. Baby Don’t Go is one of the best records ever. Freedom Is good vocals. Another Day Without You is the album’s biggest hit, I think.
