It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Hardcore - Various Artists energies, virtually a rebirth. Now signed to Hardcore - Various Artists’s EMI Records, the title track from second album “Happy Hardcore 2″ leads Hardcore - Various Artists’s back-to-school campaign. Happy Hardcore 2 carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. One of Hardcore - Various Artists’s best albums yet.
Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Luv U More (DJ Paul Elstak) is my favorite song on Happy Hardcore 2. Hardcore - Various Artists allows each song to breathe and flourish. Come With Me (DJ Waxweasle) was the first single release from the album Happy Hardcore 2. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Masterplan (Dyewitness) defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. The Sun Always Shines (M-Jay & Dan Vee) is a bit of a show-tune. The opening track Going Crazy (Rave Nation) is very much like you would expect from other albums. Big Boys Don’t Cry (Rave Mix; The Prophet) the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. I can’t stop playing Sax B 4 Diner (Bertocucci Feranzano). Pump That Stupid Bass (Happy Rave Mix (DJ Weirdo & DJ Sim) - A nice song. Be Happy! (DJ Delirium) is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Song Can You Feel It (Tim B) is actually a funny song. Miles of Smiles (The Beatfreaks) motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Do What You Like (The Rezerection Anthem (Scott Brown) is such a perfect and optimistic song that things can get just better. It’s Gonna Be a Fine Night (Micado) catches attention immediately, Voice and instruments in Words (Network) complement each other. Higher Love (Bertocucci Feranzano & DJ Buzz Fuz) is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Bizzy Time (System Shock) is probably the most interesting track on Happy Hardcore 2. Opening track Just Laugh (Mr. Kinky) shows the best of Hardcore - Various Artists. Hold Me Now (Bass D & King Matthew Remix (Highlander) - For me, this is the best of the album. Let it Lift You (DJ Vibes & Wishdokta Mix (Bill Daniel Bunter & JDS feat. Ge) great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool. One listen to the sheer beauty of Rave All Night (Full Option) was all I needed. I want You (Happy Toons) is a great opener for Happy Hardcore 2. If you are a Hardcore - Various Artists fan, you will love Baraonda (Ramirez). Full Forcer (Forbes & Cyclone) is almost impossible to review. This is one hell of a track. Best song on the album, love it. Strong, powerful vocals of Hardcore - Various Artists in Hey! (Toni Salmonelli) are very impressive.
