Hardcore - Various Artists had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. I am not a real Hardcore music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Happy Hardcore 6 (Cd2)’ really is amazing. Lead single “Happy Birthday (Party Blast; Technohead)” and “Break On Through (Radio Edit; Dionysis)” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Happy Hardcore 6 (Cd2).
No Hardcore - Various Artists song has come close to capturing my attention as Break On Through (Radio Edit; Dionysis) did. The Revolution (Original; The Nightraver & Dj Trevor) is the exquisite blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Can’t Stand It (The Prophet) is Hardcore - Various Artists’s best work in years. Doesn’t Have To Be (Just 4U Mx (Ikon Featering Elaine) is the first taste of the new album. The Beat Goes On (The Beatsquad) is perfect. Circles (Extended Version; External) is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. The song feels complete. I Wanna Be With You (Back 2 Bass) is astounding. Clear The Air (Mc Drokz) was the first single release from the album Happy Hardcore 6 (Cd2). It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. The sound of Gimme Da Dope (Cixx) is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. This track is clearly meant to showcase Hardcore - Various Artists’s vocal abilities. Some of the arrangements found on Happy Hardcore 6 (Cd2) are surprisingly edgy. Rock Your Body (Dj Delirium) - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites.
