Hia-hia svarmor is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. The song feels complete. Music of Begavningsmarsch is gentle, never overbearing. Funasdalingen is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. You have to get essence of the Mirslattern’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Harjedalspipan couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Vallatspolska. Ingebrikt-polskan is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Kaffetaren to me is the best you can get from Harjedalspipan. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Viseslag / Lomjansvals is another favourite of mine. Vals fran Funasdalen is cool song though, very addictive. Grannlaten which is my favorite is a truly Harjedalspipan sounding song. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Brudlat efter Simon Svensson - Check out that bassline! Mitt Vackra Barn hits the heart. Tedorn one of the best in my collection. Egna brudmarshen has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Harjedalspipan’s strong vocals come to the fore. Polska efter farbrodern is a very catchy tune. In Polska efter Tage Magnusson you won’t find any flashy solos. Andelig vise is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Music and lyrics of Polska creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. No Harjedalspipan song has come close to capturing my attention as Polska did. Opening track Visa shows the best of Harjedalspipan. In Intervju Harjedalspipan is at his best. Brudmarsch had me crying as I was able to relate so well.
