There is no doubt that Harvey Mason has talent. On Ratamacue album, Harvey Mason have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. It has been six years Harvey Mason’ last studio CD, “Ratamacue” which won Array Academy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Ratamacue is the best essence of Harvey Mason.
8:22 A.M. is a bit of a show-tune. Ratamacue is a song to enjoy for years to come. Noble Places of the Heart is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Scream - My least favorite song on this album. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. It’s You is the funkiest number on the album. Opening track Crush shows the best of Harvey Mason. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Take It Slow is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit.
