Since completing 1994’s ‘Iawaramoi’, Hubert Von Goisern Und Die Alpinkatzen fulfilled their contract with ForeFront Records and where under no obligation to release another album. I am not a real Folk music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Omunduntn’ really is amazing. ‘Omunduntn’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. To me Hubert Von Goisern Und Die Alpinkatzen is the best band ever.
After you’ve listened to Goaeitl-Bauernbuam, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Spinni is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. In Kren & Speck Hubert Von Goisern Und Die Alpinkatzen is at his best. Goisern is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Kokain Blues is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Kuahmelcher still maintains something of a specific flourish. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Song Wieder Hoam is actually a funny song. Ganz Alloan without a doubt is the standout song of Omunduntn. Hubert Von Goisern Und Die Alpinkatzen emotions are reflected through Oben und Unten. What sets Schleineger apart is Hubert Von Goisern Und Die Alpinkatzen’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres.
