Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Hybryds on ‘Orca’. Hybryds’s debut, ‘Soundtrack For The Aquarium’, does not fit easily into one genre. For older fans Soundtrack For The Aquarium will put a massive smile accross your face. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is In De Koralijne Schijndiepten
The song feels complete. Het Enigma Der Dolfijnen the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. One listen to the sheer beauty of In The Wake Of The Great Sea-Serpents was all I needed. L’ivresse Des Grandes Profondeurs defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Archeozoicum one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Into The Ultrasonic Depths is astounding. Wailing For The Whales is just simply stunning. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Soundtrack For The Aquarium.
