I am not a real Industrial music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Stone Glass Steel - Industrial Icon’ really is amazing. Self-described as Industrial with lots of words, Industrial - Various Artists comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. It’s natural for Industrial - Various Artists to take a stab at ‘Factory Mode (Interpolating The Mentor)’ considering her long-professed love for Babylon Zoo. Smart music for smart people.
Halo Of Sparks is probably the highlight of the album. Flickering Device is simply exquisite. Industrial - Various Artists has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. I’ve found myself listening to Error, Reboot? back to back and back many times. The Iconoclast is the albums biggest surprise. Tear Down The Monuments Of Culture - To me, this is the best song on the Stone Glass Steel - Industrial Icon. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Memory Purge is a bit different from Industrial - Various Artists stereotypical stuff. This track is full of harmonies and gets Stone Glass Steel - Industrial Icon off to a relaxing start. This is one hell of a track. I can’t stop playing System Disconnect (God Is A Bell). Song The Grand Transmission is actually a funny song. Some call Receive And Decode from Stone Glass Steel - Industrial Icon as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Across The Universe (And Back Again) is a great opener for Stone Glass Steel - Industrial Icon. The Missing Frequency defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone.
