Guitar man isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. It has been two years J. J. Cale’ last studio CD, “Guitar man” which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. This thirteen-song debut EP shows the promise that J. J. Cale has. Guitar man touched my soul like nothing else.
It’s Hard To Tell - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of J. J. Cale. Day’s Go By is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Low Down - My least favorite song on this album. This Town is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Guitar Man is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. So much energy, so exciting a sound.One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Ols Blue. Strong, powerful vocals of J. J. Cale in Doctor Told Me are very impressive. This song stands out greatly from the others. Nobody Knows is excellent song though, very addictive.
