For older fans Live In London will put a massive smile accross your face. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by J. J. Cale. Live In London isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Smart music for smart people.
Music in Ride Me High is cool as in all tracks of Live In London. I came to like The Old Man and Me. New Orleans is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Don T Cry Sister is one of my favorite songs by J. J. Cale. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Live In London. Lies is the funkiest number on the album. Black Cat - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. I Feel So Bad is possibly the best song J. J. Cale has come up. This track is clearly meant to showcase J. J. Cale’s vocal abilities. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. J. J. Cale rocks harder than ever with Nowhere To Run. J. J. Cale must have run out of lyrics on the next track Takin’ Care Of Business. After Midnight marked the continuation of J. J. Cale in style evolution. This track is a great song that still never gets old.
