Since completing 1996’s ‘Intro’, Jaga Jazzist fulfilled their contract with ForeFront Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This is the first studio album from Jaga Jazzist since bad diagnosis in 1996. Since Jaga Jazzist last CD (Jaevla Jazzist Grete Stitz) on ForeFront Records back in 1996, I have felt a massive void in my life. Intro and Jazzthang (Chillout Mix) is really good.
Jazzthang (Chillout Mix) motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. The Millennium Falcon is the albums biggest surprise. Tyrkisk Pepper is absolutely incredible. In Serafin the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Ekteskap - Okay, I just talked about depth. Yo! It’s Christmas - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Out Of Reach (Or Switched Off) without a doubt is the standout song of Jaevla Jazzist Grete Stitz.
