It has been ten years Jake Slazenger’ last studio CD, “Makes a Racket” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. ‘Makes a Racket’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Since completing 1995’s ‘Megaphonk’, Jake Slazenger fulfilled their contract with EMI Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Makes a Racket is not something you should pass up.
Jake Slazenger has astounded me with this amazing track. If you are a Jake Slazenger fan, you will love Stupid Wanker. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Daytime Kiss has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Erp gets you up and jumping. Watt - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Flod is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Music in Bolus is astounding as in all tracks of Makes a Racket. No Jake Slazenger song has come close to capturing my attention as Feet did. Five Alive is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about.
