Now signed to James Brown’s Mute Records, the title track from second album “Living in America” leads James Brown’s back-to-school campaign. Living in America carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Self-described as Jazz: Funk with lots of words, James Brown comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. James Brown “Living in America” is an amazing album.
Cold Sweat is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. (So Tired Of Standing Still We Got To) Move On (4:05) - awsome. I’m Real is one of my favorite songs by James Brown. Nice and different song. How Do You Stop is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Just Do It as a highlight of Living in America contains a ton of cool melodies. James Brown offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. This is one hell of a track. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of James Brown.
