This album has some very good songs like Die Hochzeit Des Figaro and Andante. My Favourites isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. For older fans My Favourites will put a massive smile accross your face. Such great and happy songs.
So much energy, so exciting a sound.I hope to keep hearing James Last works for a long time to come. Air On A G-String defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Romance - a classic song. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Maracaibo is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. I now have Molto Allegro as one of my personal favorites. Lyrics of Rhapsodie In Blue are precise and evocative. I can’t stop humming along Lazy afternoon. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Romeo und Julia because the melody in the chorus is so good. I can’t stop playing Distant Love. No James Last song has come close to capturing my attention as Praludium I did. I love the melodic melody of Fantasie Nr. 1 and to this day it makes me feel good. Amigos para siempre is cool and different song. Quartett - I like this one. Praludium II is a striking and quite long song.
