This disc has all of the essential Jan Garbarek classics. It’s natural for Jan Garbarek to take a stab at ‘Red Wind’ considering her long-professed love for Paul Oakenfold. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Jan Garbarek energies, virtually a rebirth. One of Jan Garbarek’s best albums yet.
Jan Garbarek breathes new life into the music in The Creek. The Survivor is one of the best records ever. Visible World couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track The Healing Smoke. Visible World (chiaro) one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Desolate Mountains I is simply astounding. Desolate Mountains II is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Visible World (scuro) is just simply stunning. Giulietta - My least favorite song on this album. I like Desolate Mountains III because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Pygmy Lullaby is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. The Quest is a song to enjoy for years to come. The Arrow - arguably the best track on Visible World album. Get Visible World and turn on The Scythe if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Evening Land is really the reason why I recommend buying Visible World.
