Self-described as Folk with lots of words, Jaramar comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. When you buy a Jaramar album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Now signed to Jaramar’s Virgin Records, the title track from second album “Entre La Pena Y El Gozo” leads Jaramar’s back-to-school campaign. One of Jaramar’s best albums yet.
A La Una Yo Nazi is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Puncha Puncha is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Jaramar must have run out of lyrics on the next track Novia De La Cara Blanca. I hope to keep hearing Jaramar works for a long time to come. This is one hell of a track. Una Pastora Yo Ami - Check out that bassline! Lloraba La Nina is the albums biggest surprise. Ay Un Galan is probably one of Jaramar’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. La Vida Es Un Pasaje is one of the more up-tempo songs on Entre La Pena Y El Gozo. I came to like Ay Linda Amiga. Vocals of Jaramar in La Novia Entre Flores really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Nice and different song. Nana Andaluza as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature.
