Since completing 1994’s ‘Boom-Bapa-Boom’, Jimmie Vaughan fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. On the Canada charts, superstar Jimmie Vaughan’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This album has some very good songs like Boom-Bapa-Boom and Don’t Cha Know. If you want to hear real Blues, get this record now!
|titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Music of Everybody’s Got Sweet Soul V is gentle, never overbearing. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Just Like Putty is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Love The World is a very catchy tune. Don’t judge Six Strings Down on the first listening. Voice and instruments in Strange Pleasure Modern Backporch Duende complement each other. Tilt A Whirl is the albums biggest surprise. Two Wings is possibly the best song Jimmie Vaughan has come up.
