IF YOU LIKE ALL Joan Baez’S SONG GO FOR IT! This is the first studio album from Joan Baez since bad diagnosis in 1993. On the China charts, superstar Joan Baez’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like From Every Stage.
Don’t judge The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down on the first listening. Lily, Rosemary And the Jack Of Hearts - This is a very lively song. Please Come to Boston is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Swing Low, Sweet chariot is a cool song and it grows on you. Oh, Happy Day rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Boulder To Birmingham is a strong cut, one of many. This song is dynamic and dramatic. diamonds And Rust - A catchy, upbeat tune. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Love Is Just A Four - Letter Word is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. the Ballad Of Sacco & Vanzetti - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Stewball - This one is lively and fun. Natalia is the more seemingly obscure song on From Every Stage that bear up best to repeated listening. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Blowin’In The Wind is one of the coolest songs Joan Baez has ever recorded. Love Song To A Stranger/Part II is a bit of a show-tune. In Blessed Are you won’t find any flashy solos. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. (Ain’t Gonna Let Nobody) Turn Me around was the first single release from the album From Every Stage.
