Joan Baez was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Joan Baez and Gracias a la Vida together. Joan Baez had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. While no new Joan Baez album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1994 tour in Europe. IF you love Joan Baez, ‘Gracias a la Vida’ Mp3’s is the best!
This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. No Nos Moveran is simple, dignified and effective, Joan Baez refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. After few listenings I started to like De Colores more and more. Pasa Rio is one of these floating songs. El Rossinyol - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Te Recuerdo Amanda (2:33) - awsome. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Gracias a la Vida. Cucurrucucu Paloma is just simply stunning. Gracias a la Vida couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Guantanamera. La Llorona is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. El Preso Numero Nueve I just LOVE this mix! Llego Con Tres Heridas - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. This is probably my favorite song on the album.
