There is so much to love about Joe Henderson, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This is one of the best Cd’s Joe Henderson has dropped to date. I am not a real Jazz music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Double Rainbow’ really is amazing. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Dreamer (Vivo Sonhando)
From the moment you listen to Dreamer (Vivo Sonhando) you’re hooked. Boto was the first single release from the album Double Rainbow. Ligia one of the best in my collection. Put Once I Loved (Amore Em Paz) into car stereo for your highway driving Joe Henderson offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Voice and instruments in Photograph complement each other. The song feels complete. I can’t stop humming along No More Blues (Chega De Saudade). Happy Madness - A classic Joe Henderson track. Passarim is another strong production from Joe Henderson. Modinha (4:33) - Oh, this is one of my favorites!
