After seeing Autumn, I had to have a good Jon Mark cd. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Jon Mark’s album A Sunday In Autumn falls to No. 2 with 517,000, a sales slide of 93%. For older fans A Sunday In Autumn will put a massive smile accross your face. Such great and happy songs.
Sunday Morning is a very catchy tune. First Snowfall the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Afternoon, The Old Walking Track is the funkiest number on the album. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Only one song from A Sunday In Autumn named Supper and Wine For One really got me. A fantastic track full of wonder. The City, The Bag Lady and The Snow is possibly the best song Jon Mark has come up. Lyrics of 2 A.M. Street Night Sounds are precise and evocative. Autumn’s End - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody.
