The Angel in the House great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.In Mermaid it becomes nowhere more obvious that Jonatha Brooke has yet to define own style. Jonatha Brooke allows each song to breathe and flourish. In In the Gloaming you won’t find any flashy solos. Jonatha Brooke has astounded me with this amazing track. I find myself hearing bits of Love Song here and there throughout my waking hours. Amelia is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done.
