Jorge REYES was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Jorge REYES and El Costumbre together. sixteen years ago, Jorge REYES briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Omenyocan, Lugar 2″. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Jorge REYES. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Music and lyrics of El Huarachito creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. I like the idea behind Peyote-Venado-Maiz. Danza de los Voladores is so unique, as each one of the songs is. What sets El Despedimento apart is Jorge REYES’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres.
