While no new Jorge REYES album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1994 tour in North America. After seeing Invocation, I had to have a good Jorge REYES cd. There were many famous songs of Jorge REYES available. This is what good Ethnic should be.
El Hechicero De La Dicha Tranquila is a great opener for Prehispanic Mistic Rites. Donde Nadie Lamenta Lo Que Somos make listening to Jorge REYES like being in some sort of time warp. No Te Entiendo gives good insight into the truths. Only one song from Prehispanic Mistic Rites named Nadie Supo De Donde Venia really got me. Don’t judge El Arrullo De La Mujer Luna on the first listening. Prehispanic Mistic Rites couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track The Flayed God. Some of the arrangements found on Prehispanic Mistic Rites are surprisingly edgy.
