Jorge REYES The Flayed God MP3

Jorge REYES The Flayed God imageSince completing 1994’s ‘Agua caliente’, Jorge REYES fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. While no new Jorge REYES album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1994 tour in Europe. I am not a real Blues music type of person, but i have to admit ‘The Flayed God’ really is amazing. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like The Flayed God.

Al filo de obsidiana is so unique, as each one of the songs is. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Don’t judge Xipe Totec - the flayed one on the first listening. Jorge REYES allows each song to breathe and flourish. Macehual is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Arbol Sagrado is the most memorable and astounding. Jorge REYES is hitting on all cylinders in Nahual negro. Blew our minds when we first heard Nahual negro. Luna Caracol - I like this one. El sesor de la aurora is such a exquisite and optimistic song that things can get just better. Rio de nueve corrientes is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite.
