When you buy a Joshua Redman album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Joshua Redman’s debut, ‘Spirit Of The Moment CD2′, does not fit easily into one genre. ‘Spirit Of The Moment CD2′ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Just in time is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Joshua Redman ever produced. The opening track Lyric is very much like you would expect from other albums. Mt. Zion is probably the highlight of the album. Neverend which is my favorite is a truly Joshua Redman sounding song. Spirit Of The Moment CD2 couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Slapstick. Only one song from Spirit Of The Moment CD2 named Wait no longer really got me.
